Dr. BJ Meunier
BJ graduated from Tufts Veterinary School in 1993 and established Townsend Veterinary Hospital in the Old Brick Store in West Townsend in 1995. The new facility was completed in 2005, and the practice relocated one mile down Main Street to its current address in Townsend.

BJ loves difficult diagnostic challenges and has a dedication to pursuing all possible options to help a patient. He has pursued additional training in ultrasound imaging.

The most important thing to BJ is his family. He is an extremely dedicated father and husband to his wife, Margo and his four children, Aubrey, Noah, Bennett, and Luca. BJ lives in Ashby and spends his free time attending to his kids’ activities which include Little League, ice hockey, theater, and piano. He is an avid Red Sox fan and attends as many games as possible.

 
 
 
Dr Lynne O'Neil
Dr. O'Neil graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. She joined Townsend Veterinary Hospital in 2002. She has pursued additional training in ultrasound technology.
Her special professional interests include greyhound medicine and surgery as well as feline infectious diseases.
Her husband, Shawn, graduated with her from Cornell but continued his training at Colorado State University to become a research pathologist. He works for Pfizer as an investigative pathologist in
drug safety.

Dr. O'Neil lives in Bolton with her husband and a recently emptied nest. Her youngest child, Scott, is a second year medical student at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Her daughter, Allison has joined her as the newest veterinarian at TVH. Shawn Jr. completed his Masters degree in mechanical engineering and is currently employed by Boeing in Mulkilteo, WA. The family dotes on 6 cats and miscellaneous reptiles and fish. In her spare time, Lynne enjoys art, travel, and helping several animal rescue groups.
 
 
 
Dr. Terri Martin
Dr. Martin grew up in Maine and New Hampshire before moving to Rhode Island to pursue a degree in Architecture and Engineering. After graduation she practiced in Boston and Cambridge, MA, eventually consulting for environmental agencies. Her involvement with the environmental and scientific community eventually led to her decision to pursue a secondary career in veterinary medicine. She was accepted at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and during her veterinary training also worked in the Tufts ICU as well as with a local mobile surgical practice.
Upon graduating from Tufts with honors, she completed an intensive internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital-Boston in emergency, general medicine, and surgery. She has a particular interest in surgery, emergency, and geriatric medicine. She has also been involved with breed rescue as well as shelter medicine in the area.
Dr. Martin lives in Hopkinton, MA with her husband, Jim, and her rescued mixed breed dog, Elwood. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, and working on renovating their c.1860 farm house.
 
 
 

Dr. Allison O'Neil
Allison joined TVH in May and has quickly become a valued part of our team. She spent much of her childhood in Massachusetts, graduating from Nashoba Regional High School. When her family was relocated to Missouri for her father's job, she chose to start college in Missouri and decided to stay out there to complete her veterinary education. She is happy to be back in New England and has purchased a home in NH with her husband, James.

Allison enjoys working with exotic pets and has pursued additional training in exotic animal medicine. She fawns over her own family of 4 cats, a bearded dragon, 2 snakes, several mice, and in the near future--a flock of chickens. She also spent years successfully breeding betta fish. In her spare time Allison loves arts of all kinds--drawing, painting, and pottery. She also enjoys horseback riding, fishing, and travel.

Our Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon Dr. Jim Easley
 
 
Dr. Jim Easley Board Certified Surgeon

Dr. Easley joined Townsend Veterinary Hospital in 2005. He graduated from Washington State Veterinary School in 1967 and completed his surgical residency and training at Angell Memorial Medical Center in 1975. He is a board-certified veterinary surgeon.

He lives in Lancaster with his wife, Sandra and his adorable Yorkshire Terrier, Bella. They have a daughter and two grandchildren. Dr. Easley enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, bowling, and riding his motorcycle.

 
Our Practice Manager: Diane Beausoleil
 
 
Diane just celebrated her 15th year as practice manager for Townsend Veterinary Hospital.
Her affection for the staff, clients, and patients of Townsend is clearly evident by her intense devotion to their well-being.

Diane is a long-term resident of Townsend and knows many of our clients personally. She lives with her husband, Norm, and her treasured cats, Ozzy, Sophia, Kahuna,and Bamboo. She is proud of her three grown children and nine grandchildren.

Diane enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and staying active by working out regularly at the health club. She and Norm escape the winter weather to their home in Florida for several weeks each winter.
